These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the GaiaScore platform. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to do so.

For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. The Platform is intended for business and professional use.
You must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@gaiascore.com of any unauthorised use.
The Platform operates on a role-based access model:
GaiaScore offers Lite (free), Growth (£100/mo), Professional Pro (£250/mo), and Enterprise (custom) plans. Plan features are described on our pricing page.
All Subscription fees are billed in advance. Prices exclude applicable taxes. GaiaScore reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days' written notice.
A 14-day refund policy applies to new paid subscriptions. Requests must be submitted to support@gaiascore.com within 14 days of the initial charge.
If payment fails after three retry attempts over seven days, paid features will be restricted. Your data is retained for 90 days before deletion following suspension.
You may use the Platform solely for lawful business purposes in connection with ESG reporting, sustainability tracking, and related activities.
You agree not to:
AI-powered features (Advisory Chat, scoring, recommendations) are guidance tools only and do not constitute professional legal, financial, or regulatory advice. Review AI outputs with qualified professionals before formal submissions.
You retain full ownership of all ESG Data you submit. GaiaScore processes your data solely to provide the Platform services.
GaiaScore processes personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. A Data Processing Agreement is available upon request.
Your data is retained during your active subscription and for 90 days following account closure. You may export your data at any time from the Reports section.
GaiaScore implements encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and rate limiting. You are responsible for securing your account credentials.
The Platform, including scoring methodologies, framework alignment tools, badge systems, and design, is the exclusive intellectual property of GaiaScore Ltd. You retain ownership of your ESG data and all reports generated from it. If you submit feedback, GaiaScore may use it to improve the Platform without obligation to compensate you.
GaiaScore scores are internal management tools and indicative benchmarks only — not official ratings, certifications, or regulatory assessments. Score accuracy depends on the accuracy of data you submit. Platform badges are internal recognition tools and do not constitute third-party certification. Framework alignment indicators (GRI, TCFD, IFRS S1/S2, VSME, B Corp, UNGC) are guidance tools — formal compliance requires independent assessment.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GAIASCORE'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) FEES PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM; OR (B) £500. GAIASCORE IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
GaiaScore does not guarantee that use of the Platform ensures compliance with any ESG regulation or reporting standard. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and compliance of your disclosures.
You may terminate your account at any time via Settings or by contacting support@gaiascore.com. GaiaScore may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach, non-payment, or security risk. Upon termination, data is retained for 90 days before permanent deletion.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
GaiaScore may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified by email and in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
